The new Toyota electric coupe SUV is set to be revealed on March 11.

Toyota is all set to reveal its new electric coupe SUV on March 11, 2025, and is going to be the production version of the 2022 bZ Compact SUV concept.
This electric SUV will be the third EV of Toyota, when it starts selling in the international markets, it will be positioned below the larger bZ4X, and the recently displayed Cruiser EV. Toyota is planning to launch six new EVs by 2026, for the international markets.
New Toyota EV Design
The electric coupe’s production model has many styling cues retained from the concept, as the company has released a teaser video and a display image of the electric SUV. The car has a raked roofline and extended bonnet to give it a sporty look.
The rear of the car gets a lightbar, while the front-end has taken inspiration from Toyota’s new ‘hammerhead’ design language, which they are using in their next generation cars.
There are notable similarities such as the rear light design - to the Chinese-market bZ3C fastback, displayed at the Beijing Motor show last year.
Following these similarities, there is a possibility that it can be the European variant of that car, although these are just speculations and have yet to be confirmed.
Battery & Performance
This new coupe SUV will be available with a range of battery options and different motors, as the teaser video showcased the EV badging featuring AWD for All-Wheel-Drive.
In the Urban Cruiser, addition of AWD means a motor is attached to both axles, producing a combined output of 184 HP and 300 Nm of torque, which is integrated with a 61 kWh battery pack offering a range of about 400 Km.
The entry-level variant of the Urban Cruiser will churn power from a 49 kWh battery, producing power from a 144 HP front-powered motor. Both versions can be charged at a speed of up to 150 kW.
New Toyota Electric SUV Interiors & Features
There is no display of the interiors and the potential features in the teaser video, but the interior will be taking similar design cues from Toyota C-HR rather than the Urban Cruiser.
This means the SUV will be coming with a bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a high-center console, and addition of a digital instrument cluster can be expected to come with the electric SUV.
The top spec variants will also feature goodies like panoramic sunroof, and a JBL sound system, among other premium features.
New Toyota Name
Toyota has not revealed the name of the electric coupe SUV, but the model was initially named as bZ3X, which indicates its smaller size as compared to the larger bZ4X, but reports suggest that the manufacturer can use a catchy name for the coupe SUV to grab attention from the consumers.
New Toyota EV launch Details
Toyota has not revealed the exact launch date of the all new electric SUV, but Toyota has confirmed to bring this new offering to India. On the other hand, Toyota Urban Cruiser EV prices are expected to be revealed in India at the end of this year, though exact dates will be confirmed soon.
