Matter is set to introduce its new Aera Electric Bike in eight cities within the next 45 days.

Matter Electric, which is an Ahmedabad based startup is all set to enter the electric bike segment by launching their brand new electric motorcycle, the Aera across different cities by following its first launch in Bengaluru. The company will be also launching the model in various other cities over the next 45 days.
The Aera electric motorcycle will be launched in various other cities like Pune, Delhi, Chennai, Coimbatore, Mumbai, Jaipur, Surat, and Rajkot. The company has commenced bookings through the website and from online platforms.
The company is using various strategies to promote their latest offering in various cities, like setting up “Experience Hubs” a place where interested customers can test the bike and participate in Test rides and explore the latest features of the upcoming bike.
These experience hubs give riders an opportunity to use the motorcycle and experience how the bike can fulfill their everyday needs and urban commutes. These hubs will be located in all eight cities, so as to give a convenience to users in experiencing the electric motorcycle.
The founder and CEO of Matter company, Mohan Lalbhai, expressed that the company is getting a huge number of interests during the unveiling of their AERA motorcycle from various users in Bangalore.
He also stated that the expansion of their company in 8 different cities will lead to increased accessibility of their products, as various users can get a platform to test their upcoming products.
Matter Aera: Technical Specifications & Features
The most interesting feature of the Aera electric motorcycle is an addition of a manual gear shift system, and it is the only electric motorcycle in the segment to come with manual powertrains. Available in two options: 5000 and 5000+, with prices set at Rs 1.74 lakh and Rs 1.84 lakh (Ex-Showroom), respectively.
The Aera comes with a single battery pack, irrespective of any variant you choose. It is powered by a 10 kW electric motor which produces 13.4 Bhp of max power and can achieve a 0 to 60 km/h in a mere six seconds. The company claims a significant range of 125 Km on a single full charge.
FEATURES: The upcoming electric bikes get a variety of features such as a 7-inch touchscreen console that provides navigation, music, calls, and other connected features.
- The Aera can be also charged by a 5-Amp socket, which offers convenience and flexibility as it can be charged from any outlet.
- As per Matter, the running cost of Aera electric motorcycle will be around 25 paise per Km, which is quite economical as compared to ICE motorcycles.
