Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara Expected India Launch
After its official introduction in Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025 in January, the E-Vitara is anticipating multiple unexpected delays in launch and due to this the company is repeatedly changing the launch dates and as per latest updates, the launch has been postponed to September 2025.
Despite the delayed launch of E-Vitara, Suzuki is also focussing on the development of Toyota Urban Cruiser EV which is their badge-engineered cousin. However, Toyota is yet to clarify the exact official timeline of the launch of their first EV in India called as Urban Cruiser EV.
The company has lined up around 70,000 units for the first year of production, which consists of a major share of exports. Now it will be interesting to see if Maruti is able to launch the E-Vitara in the September timeline or could cause a delay in the launching process.
