India’s electric vehicle industry has just created a historic moment as the MG Windsor EV completed the legendary Leh to Kanyakumari stretch, setting an impressive record for speed and endurance for EVs in India. The journey, also recognised as the Ultimate test for any vehicle was achieved by setting a benchmark of record-breaking time, earning a prestigious place in the Asia Book of Records. 

Fastest EV Run in India

This record was achieved in an impressive 92 Hours and 30 Minutes, which includes all the charging stops and navigation in diverse climatic conditions and terrains. This rapid pace just unveils the future of EVs for long-highway travel across the country’s diverse topography.

To conquer this impressive feat, the MG Windsor Pro crossed the entire length of India covering a staggering 3,732 Km and navigating through the highest terrains of Himalayas to the coastal plains of the south.
