Indofast Energy will be having a strategic alliance with EVeez to produce more than 20,000 e-Bikes across the country. The joint collaboration between two companies will deliver e-Bikes in Tier I and Tier II cities, which includes Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Vijayawada, within the time frame of 24 months.

Both the companies are using their superior technology and integrating with each other to ensure seamless delivery of the e-Bikes.

The latest partnership will be working on installing battery swapping infrastructure at new locations, significantly reducing the operational costs, reduction in vehicle downtime and strengthening the delivery operations in quick commerce, e-commerce and food delivery.

The Senior Vice President of Indofast Energy, Rajat Malhan expressed his views and said, “This partnership is not focussed on adding more e-Bikes and developing swapping infrastructure, but its all about reshaping the energy ecosystem that powers the urban logistics sector. Daily, we manage upwards of 40,000 swaps and run a nationwide network of 900 swapping stations.

Our in-house OEM agnostic battery swapping infrastructure allows any other retail customer to easily access our network for their fleet, which includes two and three wheelers. Our vision for 2030 includes a robust battery swapping network throughout the city, designed to serve delivery services and ride-hailing, advancing India towards its net zero emissions target”

Gaurav Rathore, the Co-Founder and CEO of EVeez, stated that the partnership between Indofast Energy and EVeez is poised to thrive, particularly in Tier II cities, which are experiencing significant growth in quick commerce and delivery services.

The perfect blend of our electric mobility solutions and Indofast Energy’s advanced battery-swapping infrastructure will help in creating sustainable job opportunities for thousands of gig workers in urban areas. The already established e-commerce business in these areas will serve as a perfect platform for EV adoption and economic growth.

This approach will help us to eradicate the traditional barriers to EV adoption by providing a reliable and cost effective solution that fosters both job boost as well as sustainable transportation.
