Mahindra unveils the BE 6 Formula E-Edition.
Mahindra have recently unveiled the special edition of the BE 6, defined as Formula E-Edition. The Chief Design Officer of Mahindra, Pratap Bose, showcased the Be 6e Formula E-Edition, a vehicle which perfectly justifies “Race to Road” philosophy.

The BE 6 Formula E-Edition is heavily inspired by the Season 12 of the Formula E, as it highlights the unique 12 distinct stripes on the front. Mahindra has not just implemented the cosmetic changes, but it is developed exclusively for track enthusiasts interested in electric sports.
This special edition also includes a “liquid metal” finish, which has been specifically done in order to give a sporty yet rugged feel to the overall texture of the car.

The interiors are crafted to give a sporty appeal as it features “Alcantara-feel” material with different perforation patterns, and also including contrast orange accents found on the boost buttons, which helps to spot storage spaces. There is also an addition of a transparent door panel that gives a spotlight to the sheet metal, prioritising lightness.
Mahindra BE 6 Formula E-Edition Design
There are various changes to the design of the bumper, as they are now more sportier and modern, which is exclusively designed to offer enhanced aerodynamic efficiency. Bose explained further the reason behind circular headlamps, as they are designed for adding practicality and making the overall package cost-effective.
The rear is also stripped down, thus equipped with a single functional lamp and addition of a unique spoiler that splits the air in a different way as compared to the standard model.
