Pulse Energy has collaborated with HPe Charge, the EV charging brand of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to add a total of 5,000 EV chargers into its dedicated payments and access platform, ensuring drivers can find and pay for their charging across HPCL stations via a single app solution.

This joint partnership will integrate all the HPCL’s charging network to Pulse Energy’s dedicated platform which includes a variety of charging companies like Shell, ChargeZone, BESCOM, Thunderplus and other regional and national charging operators.

The platform has currently supported electric driving of more than 18 million kilometers driven monthly across various partner networks. Currently, HPCL is focussing on increasing its charging presence across various highways, important routes, fuel stations, and urban centers under the HPe Charge brand.

Pulse Energy and HPCL Collaboration

Thus the seamless integration with Pulse Energy will increase the charging access for urban commutes and long highway trips without the fear of range anxiety, which is pretty common among new EV owners

This strategic alliance will reduce the dependence for multiple apps and payment systems for EV drivers while improving the overall infrastructure utilisation for operators. This integration will also act as a revolutionary shift from network competition to collaborative approach in India’s EV charging ecosystem, which is distributed by different networks and various proprietary apps.
