The new four-door electric GT from Jaguar is set to be unveiled in September.
Jaguar has announced the global debut of its new four-door electric grand tourer in September 2026. As per various reports, the delay happened due to a cyberattack, which halted the production at the Solihull manufacturing facility, where the upcoming Jaguar EV will be manufactured. The GT will be the first electric car to debut in Jaguar’s EV lineup.
New Jaguar Four-Door Electric Technical Details
POWER: The upcoming four-door electric car by Jaguar will be underpinned by JEA (Jaguar Electric Architecture), which is EV-based architecture. The GT will be powered by a triple-motor setup generating a peak power output of 1,000 HP and peak torque of 1,300 Nm, along with the addition of torque vectoring in order to optimize power across the wheels.
AdvertisementAccording to Jaguar, the upcoming GT could deliver 700 km of range on a single charge with the ability of 321 km of driving range added in just 15 minutes. It will also feature air suspension and twin-valve active dampers which could further enhance ride comfort.

New Jaguar Four-Door India Launch
The production model of four-door GT could be launched in phases, as Jaguar could initially launch the GT in international markets like the UK and US, with India expected to be covered in the second phase. The MD of Jaguar, Rawdon Glover, expressed his views on this and said, “The possibility of 4-door launching in India could be in late 2026 or early 2027.”
