The Kinetic E-Luna's design has received an update and is officially patented.

The Kinetic E-Luna was introduced last year, after a year of its launch, the company has filed a design patent to introduce an updated version of the E-luna. The design has been largely unchanged, with only minor updates. 

Kinetic E-Luna Additions

The E-Luna was introduced in early 2024, which is a modern version of the iconic traditional Luna. The major difference between the previous model and the new patented design is a hump in the central tunnel between the rider’s seat and the handlebar. 

Apart from this, the overall design is similar to the outgoing model, with the addition of round halogen headlight placed in a square box with an LCD speedometer. The Kinetic green has also increased the storage space with the addition of triangular protrusion.

This will make the E-Luna even more practical and will be able to haul a larger amount of goods, which would be beneficial for commercial activities. 

This box is also detachable and can be removed and carried around. The new E-Luna will also be equipped with alloy wheels, with the addition of tubeless tyres, instead of the regular spoke wheels available on the outgoing model. 

There is a possibility that the company can even provide a removable battery pack on the E-Luna, but the possibility is very less as the removable battery can add an extra cost to the overall affordable scooter. 

Kinetic E-Luna Expected Price

Currently, the Kinetic E-Luna is available in two major models to choose from: the E-Luna X2 and X3. The current Kinetic E-Luna comes with a 2 kWh battery pack, and the updated scooter is expected to come with a 2.3 kWh battery pack. 

The prices start from Rs 69,990 to Rs 82,490 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). Now it's interesting to see when Kinetic Green will launch this updated E-Luna.
