India is set to welcome Leapmotor electric vehicles, thanks to Stellantis

Stellantis, a multinational automotive manufacturer is all set to introduce their Leapmotor brand in India. Stellantis boasts a wide array of automotive brands, such as Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, DS Automobiles, FIAT, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Opel, Peugeot, Ram, and Vauxhall.
The Leapmotor brand under Stellantis sells EVs across the globe and is soon to start their operation in India as well. In 2024, the company sold more than 3 Lakh vehicles, leading to a significant growth.
Leapmotor has its presence over diverse markets such as Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Romania, France, Italy, Nepal, Thailand and few other countries. The company has manufactured four electric vehicles in its lineup, which includes T03, B10, C10, and C10 Reev.
There is no confirmation regarding which EV of Leapmotors will be launching in the Indian market. However, the company will soon give a confirmation regarding the launch.

Leapmotor T03
The T03 EV is a compact hatchback featuring a 37.3 kWh battery that offers an impressive WLTP range of 265 km on just one charge.
In just 36 minutes, the battery can go from 30% to 80% charge. The electric motor generates 95 Hp of peak power and can go from 0-100 in 12.7 seconds which is pretty decent if we look at the battery size.
Leapmotor C10
The C10 is an electric SUV which gets a significantly larger 69.9 kWh battery pack, which generates maximum power of 215 Bhp and can reach speeds of 100 in just 7.5 seconds. The SUV can be fully charged in 30 minutes using a fast charger.
Going by Shailesh Hazela’s words, it is expected that the Leapmotor C10 could be launched in the Indian markets, as the company could position this sporty SUV in the premium EV segment. However, these are just speculations, and soon the Leapmotors will be revealing the EVs, they will be launching in the country.
