The Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e Pack have introduced two variants that include a 79kWh battery.

The mid-spec Pack Two variants of the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e will be powered by 79 kWh battery pack, as users prioritizing bigger battery packs can now opt for Pack Two variants of both cars as well. The existing 59 kWh battery pack will continue to sell as earlier. As the larger battery pack was only available at the top-spec Pack three variants of both the cars.
Available at a starting price of Rs 23.50 Lakh, the BE 6 Pack Two 79 kWh will be released, while the Pack Two variant of the XEV 9e 79 kWh will be priced at Rs 26.50 Lakh. Deliveries for the Pack Two variants will kick off in July. Let’s give you the exact prices of both the cars and their expected delivery timeline.

Note: Those customers who have already booked the 59 kWh variants for the BE 6 and XEV 9e can upgrade to a bigger 79 kWh new Pack Two variant. The Indian brand is actively ramping the deliveries for the same.
The ex-showroom cost does not include the charger and installation cost for 7.2 kW and 11.2 kW AC fast chargers as the users have to pay an extra cost of Rs 50,000 and Rs 75,000 respectively for the installation of fast chargers at your home/office.
Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e Pack Two: Range & Charging
As per the ARAI, The 79 kWh Mahindra BE 6 provides a significant range of 682 Km on a single charge, and 556 Km of decent range on the 59 kWh model. With a remarkable range of 656 Km and 542 Km respectively, the XEV 9e stands out.
Both electric SUVs are powered by rear-wheel drive motors generating 286 HP (79 kWh) and 231 HP (59 kWh), with the maximum torque of 380 Nm which is identical to both the SUVs.
Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e Pack Two: What Features do they offer?
In terms of features, Mahindra has provided decent features on the mid-spec trim of both the SUVs as it includes LED headlights and taillights, fixed glass roof, dual-zone AC. Experience Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, complemented by a 16-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, a wireless charger, and rear air vents for cooling.
- The safety features encompass Level 2 ADAS, 6 airbags, EPB, TPMS, and all-wheel disc brakes.
- Both the SUVs get 19-inch wheels, but the XEV 9e is equipped with alloy wheels as compared to the normal aero wheel covers for the BE 6 Pack Two.
- The interior of both the SUVs is highlighted by a 12.3-inch touchscreen and digital driver display, however the XEV 9e gets an additional screen for the front passenger as well.
