Mahindra Thar.e: Launch Date & Expected Price

Mahindra is readying an electric version of their most popular SUV, called as Thar.e. The Mahindra Thar E launch date in India could be around August 15, 2026. This upcoming Thar.e  will be based on a 5-door concept and is expected to come with dual-motor AWD and specialised off-road capabilities.

The upcoming electric version of the Thar will be built on the INGLO-P1 and could be designed with the same boxy design for which the legendary Thar is known for. However, it will be having a futuristic design with LED headlamps and high ground clearance. 

Mahindra Thar.e Expected Price in India 2026

Mahindra has not shed the light on exact prices but the Mahindra Thar E expected price range is expected to be between Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh (Ex-Showroom). It could also come with a range of multiple battery pack options, ranging from 60-75 kWh battery pack.

Thus the upcoming Thar.e will be a subsequent addition to the Mahindra’s all-electric portfolio, and will be designed to take forward the brand’s off-road capabilities integrated with electric power.
