MG has recently introduced its Tomahawk electric SUV which comes powered with a 69.2 kWh LFP MAGIC battery that provides a claimed range of 517 Km (MIDC) on a single charge. The estimated replacement cost of Tomahawk EV’s battery ranges between Rs 10 Lakh and Rs 14 lakh.

MG Hector Tomahawk EV Battery Warranty
The MG Hector Tomahawk EV comes with a lifetime warranty on its high-voltage (HV) battery specifically for the first registered owner. Below we have mentioned the key details of the warranty and ownership package provided with the MG e-Shield program.

| First Owner | The lifetime battery warranty is applicable only to the original individual buyer. |
| Second/Subsequent Owners | If you sell the electric vehicle, the battery warranty reduces to standard 8 years / 1,60,000 Km, calculated from the original date of purchase. |
| Vehicle Warranty | The rest of the vehicle comes with a 3-year, unlimited-kilometer warranty. |
| Complementary | The standard package also comes with 3 years of free roadside assistance (RSA) and 2 labour-free periodic services. |
NOTE: The lifetime battery warranty is even applicable when you buy the vehicle outright or select MG’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) monthly subscription fees.
