MG’s luxury offering in the MPV space, the M9 is all set to launch in India, Previously showcased at the Auto Expo 2025, this impressive and striking MPV is set to hit the market in April 2025, with the company’s electric roadster, the Cyberster. 

The company has already started bookings for the M9 and will sell the luxury MPV through their premium outlets, MG Select. With the M9, the brand wants to mark their presence in the luxury MPV segment, competing with Kia Carnival. As the launch is near, let’s discuss the key features of the MG M9.

M9 Design

Visually, the MG M9 looks like a premium MPV with a variety of luxury features such as automatic sliding doors, which provides easy entry to the second and third row of seats. There is addition of an LED light bar that stretches across the front end with integrated turn signals. 

The front look is highlighted with a closed trapezoidal grille. The back features vertical LED taillights along with a continuous LED lightbar. MG plans to outfit the M9 with 19-inch alloy wheels.

M9 Dimensions 

This luxury MPV comes with three rows and seven seat configuration. The dimensions of the MG M9 are as follows: it measures 5,270 mm long, 2,000 mm wide, and stands 1,840 mm tall. The wheelbase is 3,200 mm long, accommodating enough storage space between the second and third row seats. 

M9 Interiors

The interiors of M9 are luxurious when viewed from the first glance, as it provides a higher sense of space, with the addition of ottoman seats in the second row. These seats are equipped with modern features such as heating, cooling and massage functionality. The front row seats come with ventilation and are electrically adjustable. 

MG M9 Features 

The M9 comes with a simple dashboard, coupled with futuristic 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment touchscreen and a seven-inch digital display for the driver. 

The MPV also comes with an advanced three-zone climate control system, which can be operated directly on the touchscreen panel of second-row seats to make it more accessible to the second row occupants. It also features massage functionality, which can be managed from the touchscreen panel.

The HVAC controls are placed at the bottom of the infotainment screen. The floating dashboard of the M9 comes with two cupholders, under-arm storage and a wireless charger. 

MG M9 Battery and Expected Range

MG will be powering the M9 with a substantial 90 kWh battery pack, MG claims a significant range of up to 500 Km on a single charge. MG claims that the battery can be fully charged from 5% to 100% in 8.5 hours using a 11 kW charger. The M9 also supports fast charging, which can recharge the batteries from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. 

POWER: The electric motor generates a maximum power of 241 Bhp and delivers a torque of 350 Nm. This MPV can reach a top speed of 180 Kmph.
