Volvo EX30 Battery Replacement Costs and Expenses 2026

Volvo has recently launched its EX30 electric SUV in the Indian market as it is powered with a 69 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, with a usable capacity of 64 kWh. The replacement cost of Volvo EX30’s high-voltage battery ranges from Rs 10-20 lakh, excluding the labor costs.

Volvo EX30 Battery Warranty

Volvo provides a comprehensive warranty on the high-voltage battery for 8-year or 1,60,000 Km, whichever comes first. The warranty covers protection against defects in materials or workmanship and ensures that the battery is generally above 70% during the warranty period. It is very important to note that gradual capacity loss over a specific period of time is normal and is not covered. 

Battery Replacement: If a battery capacity drops below the 70% threshold, it will be repaired or replaced by the authorized Volvo retailer. 

Refurbished Option: If the battery requires replacement outside the battery warranty period, then Volvo provides refurbished batteries with a warranty period of 4 years or 80,000 km whichever comes first.
