Volvo India has finally introduced their EX30 electric SUV in India at an introductory price of Rs 39.99 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). This special price is applicable for early buyers who will pre-book the SUV before October 19, 2025. After that, the prices will witness a steep hike to Rs 41 lakh. Volvo is all set to deliver the EX30 from the first week of November, just after the festive season ends.

The EX30 is one of the most cost-effective SUVs available in the entire Volvo lineup, and will be manufactured in-house specifically at the company’s manufacturing facility, situated in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The Indian production model extracts power from the 69 kWh battery pack with a company claimed range of 480 Km (WLTP) on a single charge. 

All the power is channelised through a single rear-axle motor generating 268 BHP of maximum power output and 343 Nm of peak torque. The EX30 can sprint from 0-100 km/hr in just 5.3 seconds with an electronically controlled top speed of 180 kmph. Volvo provides a 3-year warranty as standard, followed by a 3-year Volvo Service Package and three years of roadside assistance.

The EX30 comes equipped with advanced features such as five ambient lighting themes, Harmon Kardon Audio system, 12.3-inch infotainment display integrated with Google built in, 5G connectivity, and over-the-air (OTA) updates. There is also an inclusion of fixed panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climatic control, one-pedal drive, wireless charging, LED headlamps with active high beam, 18-inch alloy wheels, with interiors finished with Nordico upholstery.

The Volvo EX30 is positioned in the segment where it undercuts its competitors by a huge margin, as the electric SUV will be going against the likes of Hyundai Ioniq 5, BYD Sealion 7, Kia EV6, and Mini Countryman Electric
