MG has officially launched the Windsor EV Inspire Edition, with a starting price of Rs 16.65 lakh.

The MG Windsor EV lineup has been upgraded with a new Inspire edition to celebrate one year of Windsor EV’s launch in India, which is a runaway success for the brand and has registered sales of over 40,000 unit sales till date. 

The company has kept the limited edition restricted to only 300 units, which is available at an introductory price of Rs 16.65 lakh (Rs 9.99 lakh with BaaS). The pre-bookings can be done via MG India’s official website. 

MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition Design Updates 

Visually, the Windsor EV Inspire Edition features a dual-tone sporty finish which includes Pearl White integrated with a Starry Black finish on the roof, pillars, alloy wheels and ORVMs. It also gets an additional bespoke accessory pack which comprises Rose Gold-accented fitments on the fascia, bumpers, and doors, followed by a differentiated ‘Inspire’ branding that highlights the D pillars. 

INTERIORS: Talking about the interiors, the Windsor EV Inspire Edition is complimented with seats bolstered in Sangria Red shade with ‘Inspire’ branding embroidered on the headrests. However, in the regular models, you get an all-black finish with gold accents, followed by a blacked-out center armrest. 

MG has also updated the infotainment screen and introduced new features, especially for Windsor EV Inspire Edition, which includes a ‘Watch Wellness’ app that provides various wellness-focussed videos on the main screen, and a ‘Book My Service’, which allows users to book service appointments directly from the main screen. 

Other additional features for the Windsor EV Inspire Edition include accessories with 3d themed mats and cushions, rear sunshades, 4k dashcam, and leather key cover. Buyers also have an option of illuminated sill plates and a specific animation for fixed panoramic glass roof. 

MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition Battery & Performance

The Windsor EV’s Inspire Edition is packed with the regular Windsor’s 38 kWh battery pack and comes powered with a single front-mounted electric motor churning out a peak power of 136 HP and 200 Nm of maximum torque. 

The real-world range test returned an impressive range of 308 Km on a single charge, which is just 24 km short of the company claimed figures.
