MG Windsor EV sets a record as the quickest electric vehicle to reach 20,000 sales in just six months.

The Windsor has become one of the most successful EVs for MG Motors as it has sold more than 20,000 units in just 6 months, as claimed by MG. This makes the Windsor EV the fastest electric car to reach this milestone. 

The Director of Sales and Marketing of MG Motors, Rakesh Sen expressed his views on the sales milestone by saying, “Since its launch, the MG Windsor has become a favored option among most customers because of its outstanding value offering.

The customers are attracted to its futuristic design, modern features, and big cabin, thus making a blend of sustainability and accessibility. The MG Windsor has also been able to successfully resolve various EV barriers and myths associated with EVs in India through our innovative strategies. 

Due to this customer centric approach, many new customers are adopting EV as their main source of mobility, and these factors have made the Windsor as the most value for money car in the segment and the fastest EV to achieve 20,000 sales milestone in record time.”

Battery & Range 

The Windsor is equipped with a single 38 kWh battery pack, which provides a range of 332 Km. However, in city conditions, this figure can dip to approximately 260 to 280 Km. The Windsor can be completely charged in just 55 minutes when utilizing a DC fast charger. It also gets a portable charger as a standard accessory. Apart from this, MG also provides an option for a wall box charger. 

MG Windsor Warranty

MG India provides a lifetime warranty on the battery, exclusively for the first owner, and the second owner gets a standard warranty of 8 years and 1,60,000 Km. 

MG Windsor Price

As the Windsor is selling in high volumes, MG has revised the prices of all the variants of Windsor EV by Rs 50,000. The increased prices are listed below of all the variants. 

POWER: The MG Windsor EV gets a front-mounted electric motor which generates 134 Bhp of power and 200 Nm of maximum torque.
