Oben Electric achieved a production milestone of 10,000 Electric motorcycles.

Oben Electric has achieved a record production milestone of 10,000 electric motorcycles, with the latest unit rolled out of their Bengaluru facility. The company is planning for its next phase of expansion, supported by a manufacturing unit capable of producing up to 1 lakh motorcycles annually with a growing sales and service network. 

Oben Electric Production Capacity 

The 3.5-acre Bengaluru facility of Oben Electric has the annual production capacity of 1 lakh electric motorcycles. The plant follows a vertically integrated model, with the company developing and manufacturing several key components in-house. 

These consist of LFP batteries, motors, vehicle control units, chargers and proprietary software. As per Oben, these technologies developed in-house gives greater flexibility and control over development and supply. 

Rorr Evo is an Important Product for Oben 

The Rorr Evo is an important product for the company and has contributed to Oben’s recent production activity. The motorcycle has also crossed 25,000 bookings, as production is operational and deliveries are happening across India. 

As the booking milestone was crossed earlier, the model is continuing to support the company’s increased production output and expand its presence in the Indian electric motorcycle market. 

Oben Electric Network 

Currently, Oben Electric has a network of more than 150 showrooms and has Oben Care service centers across 90 cities in 18 cities. The company is planning to expand to another 200 exclusive showrooms by the end of FY27. 

The company is aggressively targeting the motorcycle segment to grab 65% of annual two-wheeler sales in India. According to Oben, the increasing electric motorcycle adoption will be beneficial for early EV adopters and reach a group of everyday riders.
