Oben Rorr Evo Price Revealed | Launched at Rs 1 Lakh

Oben has launched its highly anticipated Rorr Evo at a starting price of Rs 1 Lakh (Ex-Showroom, India). This special price is only applicable for the first 10,000 customers. This special price is for the entry-level variant in the Oben’s portfolio and is specifically positioned for those customers who are looking for an electric motorcycle on a budget.

Once the introductory offer ends, the Rorr Evo will be priced at Rs 1.25 lakh. The company has started accepting the bookings and deliveries will begin from the next month. The electric motorcycle is underpinned on the company’s ARX platform, with key upgrades to its motor, battery, and drivetrain. 

Oben Rorr Evo Technical Specs

MOTOR: The Rorr Evo is powered with an in-house manufactured I-PMSM electric motor, which does not use rare-earth materials, as claimed by the company. Oben also claims that the battery is rigorously tested at temperatures exceeding 280 Degree C.

Oben also claims that the real-world range has witnessed a 25% improvement and will be around 150 Km on a single charge. The bike also comes paired with a chain-drive setup, which is said to enhance efficiency by 10%.

POWER: The 9kW electric motor provides a claimed top-speed of 110 km/hr and a 0-40 km/hr in just 3 seconds. According to Oben, the component sizing has also been reduced by 40%, which maintains the kerb weight at 140 Kg.

Oben Rorr Evo Platform & Features

The Oben Rorr is constructed around a trellis frame and the company's ARX platform as it uses a telescopic fork and 7-step adjustable monoshock. It also gets 270 mm discs at both ends with CBS. Ground clearance is at 200 mm, while seat height is around 780 mm, with a 680 mm seat, which the company claims is the longest in its class.
