Saudi Crown Prince's brand to introduce an electric vehicle, crafted with Hyundai and German DNA.
Saudi Arabia is all set to develop its in-house manufactured electric vehicles and has been spotted testing at a secret facility in Europe. According to spy shots shared by a Japanese auto site, it shows a glimpse of a prototype model featuring sporty, wedge-shaped overalls with gullwing doors, flat windshield, and massive rear haunches.
It is expected to be launched sometime in 2026 under Saudi Arabia’s first domestic EV company, Ceer Motors.
About Ceer Motors
Ceer Motors was founded by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman in 2022, under a joint partnership between Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund and the Taiwanese multinational contract manufacturer Foxconn. This is the first auto company of Saudi to develop EVs in-house for the country and few other markets in the middle east.

Currently, the company is not working on its own technology, but will be sourcing BMW component technology for the development process. In June 2024, the company signed an agreement worth a $2.2 billion contract with Hyundai Transys to integrate the three-in-one electric drive system (EDS).
Ceer Prototype EV Details
Visually, the Ceer Prototype looks like a crossover SUV and takes styling inspiration from the Tesla Cybertruck as it looks like an electric pickup truck with coupe-like shape at the side. The EV also features a flat silhouette integrated with sharp lines. The windshield is also completely flat shaped for improving the aerodynamic efficiency, with the company claiming it as the world’s largest windshield.
However, Ceer Motors is yet to reveal the exact technical specs of its inaugural prototype EV, which could be revealed in the coming months.
