PURE EV collaborates with JioThings to incorporate smart digital clusters and telematics into electric vehicles

Pure EV, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer has joined forces with JioThings, a subsidiary of Jio Platforms to integrate smart digital clusters and telematics into its electric vehicles.
Under this partnership, both the companies have signed an initial agreement where Pure EV will use JioThings’s smart digital clusters, which consists of end-to-end IoT solutions into the electric two wheelers to improve their functionality and provide an efficient user experience, the Hyderabad-based company expressed.
The integration of smart digital clusters will also feature 4G connectivity, that will allow consumers to analyse the scooter’s real time performance and other useful information like range, battery health for more efficient and accurate display of information.
Nishanth Dongari, founder and MD of Pure EV, expressed his thoughts by saying, “This collaboration will be an important step in knowing the extent of the potential for redefining the EV ecosystem, ensuring that our customers get benefits and accurate information from the enhanced connectivity, functionality and convenience.”
JIOThings 4G Smart Digital Cluster
Pure EV has highlighted the features of JioThings 4G Smart Digital Clusters as it uses AvniOS, which is based on Android Open Source Project (AOSP), this tech offers real-time data analytics, two-wheeler interface customization options and a full HD+ touchscreen enabled with display connectivity.
JIO Automotive App Suite (JAAS)
The system is also integrated with JIO Automotive App Suite (JAAS), which provides a range of products and services designed for the seamless experience during handling of two wheelers. It also includes JioStore, music streaming, web browsing, hands-free voice assistance, navigation, gaming, and other features.
Ashish Lodha, President of Jio Platforms Ltd. also expressed the starting of this partnership by saying, “This alliance will be a one step forward in shaping the future of electric two-wheeler industry and will be responsible for mainstream adoption of sustainable transportation solutions.”
