The concept of the Honda 0 α electric SUV, aimed at the Indian market, has been unveiled.
Honda has finally revealed their first SUV EV concept called as 0 a (Alpha) at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, marking the debut of the Japanese brand’s 0 lineup of EVs. Honda has confirmed that the production-spec 0 electric SUV will be introduced in the Indian and Japanese markets at the start of 2027, followed by other international markets.
Its larger sibling, Honda 0 SUV will be coming to India through the CBU route next year, whereas the 0 a SUV will be locally manufactured in India.
Honda O (Alpha) SUV Concept Design
The newly introduced electric Honda SUV concept is smaller in design as compared to 0 SUV displayed at the CES at the beginning of 2025 but follows the same development approach, as the company defined it as ‘Thin, Light and Wise’ design language and gets a wide and upright stance.
The design cues have prominent vertical rear windscreens and a sharply designed raked front, followed by the window line sloping sharply towards the rear. The thick C-pillar has a striking resemblance to MPVs with an inclusion of a small boot spoiler.

There is also a noticeable chin which flows into the thick body cladding at the sides. There is also an addition of 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels which gives a bold yet tough look to the SUV concept.
The rear windscreen is framed by full-width integrated with U-shaped tail-lights and an inclusion of oversized faux bash plate on the rear bumper, which comes with an addition of smaller light units. The design executive of Honda, Takui Fukui has confirmed that the Honda 0 a concept is close to production and technical details will be revealed on the launch of the final production model.
Honda 0 a (Alpha) SUV Concept Technical Specifications & Interior
