The Nevera R hypercar from Rimac has achieved 24 new world records.

The electric sportscar, Nevera R has done exceptionally well by smashing a record performance and registering a whopping two dozen new world records, specifically for performance and braking. All these figures have been claimed by Rimac, which is a Croatian hypercar company. The production version of the Nevera R has achieved the fastest 0-100 kph and 0-400-0 kph.
Achieving these performance milestones, this Hypercar was tested at the Automotive Testing Papenburg in Germany from the 5th to the 8th of July. The standard variant of the Rimac Nevera has achieved 23 records, which is beaten by its even more performance oriented model defined as extreme R.
It is a proud moment for the Founder and CEO of Rimac, Mate Rimac and he expressed his happiness by saying, “When we first launched the Nevera, it almost felt like the extreme level of hypercar performance has been achieved, as in the previous generation, we have crafted a boost in performance.
Now with advanced technologies, Nevera R has become way more advanced and faster as shattering performance records have become our key expertise, and this is just the beginning.”

The R’s attention grabbing top speed is one of the highest speeds, a production spec models has achieved and this is a great milestone in the history of electric industry, however it still lagged behind by just a difference of 8kph of the 439kph record of the Aspark Owl SP600 concept.
Currently, internal combustion engines powered supercars still dominate the outright speed department and electric supercars have not beaten the blistering 490kph record of the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. So we can still say the record of ICE cars is safe.
In the conversation about the Nevera R, it has unmistakably eclipsed the Nevera's 0-100 kph time of 1.81 seconds by an incredible 1.72 seconds, thus perpetuating their tradition of achieving engineering brilliance.
The real gem is the astonishing 0-400-0kph acceleration-braking time, recorded at an impressive 25.79 seconds. This is 2.04 seconds faster than the previous record holder, the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut, which achieved 27.83 seconds, and a remarkable 4.14 seconds quicker than their own production model, the Nevera.
Rimac Nevera R Technical Specs & Power
POWER: Rimac’s Nevera and Nevera R get powered by the same 102 kWh battery pack, as the R generates a combined super power of 2,017 BHP, which is around 103 HP more than the regular Nevera, that’s terrifying actually!!
And that’s why Rimac has defined the Revera R as an electric “Hyper Sports Car” featuring torque-vectoring tech which is exclusively developed for its Michelin Cup 2 tyres. It also houses a specifically tuned steering rack for sharper handling and superior dynamics.
