Tata Sierra EV revealed in its production form.
Tata Sierra is all set to disrupt the Indian Automotive industry on November 25, 2025, as Tata Motors keeps teasing the upcoming SUV for a couple of times now. However, the manufacturer has released the official teaser of the Sierra EV, providing a glimpse of its early look at its specific styling and interiors.
The clip presents the final production model EV which has a striking resemblance to the 2023 Auto Expo concept.
Tata Sierra EV gets a Smoother, sealed-off Front Design
The Sierra EV retains the original look of its predecessor launched 28 years back with an upright stance and the wraparound rear glass displayed on the 2023 concept as well. The new teaser also showcases a smoother yet a closed-off front design with no traditional grille openings. The design of the bumper is also smooth and flat, with only the light bar and lower vent area visible.

Coming to the overall dimensions, the new Sierra EV also features a high bonnet, wide stance and short overhangs, which are quite similar to the concept.
Tata Sierra EV vs ICE: Key Visual Changes
Visually the EVs and ICE versions come with a similar shape and lighting setups, but the front end has a striking contrast with each other as the ICE Sierra comes with a textured grille design with a gloss-black upper strip and visible cooling vents present at the bumper.
On the other hand, Sierra EV features a sealed-off panel with a rather smoother bumper and fewer openings. The EVs also get different alloy wheels, followed by the ICE versions getting a more traditional design. Both models are equipped with a connected LED light bar and wraparound rear glass, but EVs have a more minimal look overall.

Tata Sierra EV: What Technical Details we know so far?
According to Tata, the Sierra will be offered with diverse powertrains including the all-electric and ICE versions. The ICE model is all set to be introduced on November 25, 2025, with the Sierra EV set to follow.
However Tata has not revealed the exact technical specifications regarding the Sierra EV, but it is expected that the electric version will borrow Curvv EV’s 55 kWh battery pack and the substantial 65 kWh battery pack unit from the Harrier EV.
The Sierra EV will be positioned in the midsize electric SUV segment and will go against the likes of Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, MG ZS EV, and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara.
