The subsidiary of Sterling Gtake E-Mobility Limited (SGEM), Sterling Tools Limited is all set to enter the electric vehicle on-board charger and DC/DC converter segment. SGEM will be collaborating with Landworld Technology Co. Ltd. China, and has signed the technology license and supply agreements.

This agreement states that SGEM will be producing on-board chargers, DC/DC converters, followed by multi-function units that seamlessly integrate chargers, converters, and power distribution functions. All of these components will be manufactured at the company’s in-house EV facility in Faridabad.

As per speculations, this strategic alliance will be generating Rs 450 Crore of expected revenue by FY 2030. The main foundation of this initiative is local manufacturing which will lead to a significant reduction of import dependence in the electric vehicle components industry. The in-house production of these EV power electronics will solidify Sterling GTake’s position in the domestic automotive market.
