Tesla Expands Its Network by Launching a Collision Repair Facility in Poonamallee and experience center in Chennai

Tesla India has expanded its presence in South India with the inauguration of a Tesla Experience center situated at Express Avenue Mall in Chennai and a Tesla-Approved Collision Center in Poonamalle. 

Tesla Experience Center Details 

The existing Chennai Experience Center in Pattullos Road will be providing retail and after-sales services, thus allowing customers in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu to experience Tesla vehicles, book test drives, and take vehicle deliveries personally.

The company has also introduced a collision repair and service center in Poonamallee. The dedicated facility will be providing Tesla genuine parts, trained technicians, vehicle diagnostics, collision repair and exclusive bodywork services according to the company’s specific repair techniques. 

Tesla Lineup for Indian Market 

Model Y: Currently, Tesla is selling the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive in India at a starting price of Rs 50.89 lakh. The electric SUV comes with a WLTP-certified range of 500 Km and can go from 0-100 km/hr in 5.9 seconds. Tesla is also providing financing options for the model with a down payment of Rs 6 lakh, with the monthly EMI from Rs 39,990. 

Model Y L: The company also sells Model Y L, which is an all-wheel drive electric SUV with six-seat variant. The Model Y L provides WLTP-certified range of 681 Km, with a 0-100 km/hr in just 5 seconds. It comes at a starting price of Rs 61.99 lakh, as the company is asking for a down payment of Rs 6.5 lakh and a monthly EMI of Rs 49,990.
