Tesla to establish their showrooms in these Two Metro Cities, According to Reports

Tesla has started their official works and planning for an anticipated India launch after Modi-Musk meets during the recent visit. Just after the news, the US EV maker started their official process by starting hiring for major roles in India, some sources have revealed that Tesla has also decided the locations of their new showrooms in India.
According to news agencies, Tesla has finalized Delhi and Mumbai as the first two cities where Tesla will be opening their showrooms. The manufacturer was searching for showrooms in India for the past one year.
However, Tesla has restarted their process to enter into the Indian Automotive industry, which is the third biggest auto market in the world. In the past, they canceled their plans to enter India due to high tariffs on imported electric cars.
Locations for Tesla Showroom
According to reports from various sources, the Tesla showroom in Delhi will be located in the Aerocity area near the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The US manufacturer has selected this location as it lies near the airport and has access to hotels, retail outlets and offices of big multi-national companies. The Tesla showroom in Mumbai will be placed at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) near the airport.
Tesla showrooms at both the locations will have space around 5,000 square feet. However, the dates for the official unveiling of these showrooms is not decided yet, as per the latest news.
In the Starting, Tesla will be selling their electric cars through imports, and they will enter into the local manufacturing at a later stage.
Tesla might launch some of its globally popular models like the Model 3, Model S, Model Y electric cars, when it comes to Indian markets.
Tesla is also planning to introduce a budget car, which would be under a price bracket of $25,000 dollars.
They will be launching this new car first in the global markets and then it will be available for India launch.
