Vinfast has introduced the VF 6 in India, with prices beginning at Rs 16.49 lakh.

Vinfast after completely establishing their set up in India has finally introduced VF 6 and VF 7 in the Indian EV industry. The company has priced the VF 6 at a competitive price of Rs 16.49 Lakh (ex-showroom), followed by their top-spec flagship model VF 7 costing Rs 20.89 Lakh (ex-showroom). Vinfast had already commenced the pre-booking at a token price of Rs 21,000.

The Vietnamese manufacturer wants to solidify their relationship with Indian consumers as they are providing various schemes with their offerings which includes free charging and maintenance till 2028. Both the electric SUVs come with panoramic sunroof as standard across the range. 

The company is also providing a specific 7-year or 2,00,000 Km warranty specifically tailored to the VF 6. The Vinfast is selling its cars across 16 countries and is focussing on expanding their operations in the Indian market with their advanced EVs. The company is also looking to export India-made EVs to various countries in the South Asian region. 

Vinfast VF6 Variants

The VF 6 will be coming in India with three variant options to choose from, and all are mentioned below with their power figures. 

The VinFast VF6 is capable of reaching 0-100 Kph in just 8.9 seconds. In terms of charging, the VF6 is supported by 3.3 kW and 7.2 kW AC chargers and the VF6 can be charged from 10-70% in just 25 minutes by utilizing a DC fast charger.

The VF 6 is a feature loaded car as it gets all the bells and whistles which includes a panoramic sunroof, 8-way powered driver’s seat, cabin air filter, 8-Speaker Audio system, wireless charger, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, specially made vegan leather upholstery, with various connected car features. 

Safety features include seven airbags setup, Level 2 ADAS, Auto Park Assist, Automatic Headlights, rain-sensing wipers, electronic-parking brake, and a 360-Degree camera for added visibility. Equipped with a generous 12.9-inch freestanding infotainment touchscreen, the VF6's dashboard boasts a modern and futuristic aesthetic.

But what’s interesting is the VF6 doesn’t get a digital driver’s display for the driver, instead the company has attached a heads-up display. 

2025 VinFast VF6 Design

Visually, The VF6 gets a unique design which differentiates it from its contemporaries and what stands out is the pair of full-width LED DRL strips present at the front and rear. This design smoothly transitions down to the Vinfast logo, resembling a classic signature of the Vietnamese manufacturer.

Other design elements include plastic cladding covered at all sides, stylish sloping roofline, and 18-inch alloy wheels. In terms of dimensions, the VF6 is quite a long car with 4,241 mm, 1,834 mm wider, and 1,580 mm in height, while the wheelbase is measured at 2,730 mm with an enhanced ground clearance of 190 mm.
