Green SM, which is a Vietnamese ride-servicing company, is all set to commence its services in India on June 5, 2026. The company is supported by Vingroup, which also owns VinFast. Just like Ola and Uber, the taxi service will start its operations in Delhi-NCR region and then spread its services to other metro cities.

The arrival of Green SM in India will mark Vinfast’s entry into the commercial fleet sector competing with Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Toyota, and Hyundai, which are also providing fleet-based models.

The competitors like Ola and Uber which use cars from multiple brands, GSM will be utilising its own ecosystem by using only Vinfast cars for its services. The first commercial vehicle will be Limo Green, which is the taxi version of the VF MPV 7, as the Limo Green will be powered with the same 60.13 kWh battery pack.

POWER: However, it will have a different ARAI certification for commercial fleet use as confirmed by CEO of Vinfast India, Tapan Ghosh. The VF MPV 7 gets an ARAI-certified rating of 517 Km, as its front electric motor generates 204 Hp and peak torque of 280 Nm.

Tapan Ghosh has also clarified that Limo Green will be using different badges and logos in order to differentiate its identity from VF MPV 7, as well as lesser features. The commercial electric MPV was recently spotted on Indian roads with a unique Cyant paint colour, which defines the Green SM branding and steel wheel with covers.

Apart from Limo Green, the company is also planning to launch the VF5 electric hatchback specifically for the Indian market, adding to its fleet line-up.
