VNT has launched India’s first 1 MW Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger, marking an important milestone in India’s EV charging ecosystem. The charger has been completely designed, manufactured and conceptualized in-house by VNT, highlighting the company’s focus towards evolving advanced technologies in electric transportation. 

The 1 MW charger is capable of charging high-capacity electric vehicles which also includes heavy-duty fleets, commercial vehicles, and long-haul transport. It provides faster charging and reduces downtime, which adds to the charging efficiency of vehicles, ensuring a seamless charging experience. 

The system also comes with efficiency control, dynamic load balancing, and smart energy management in order to effectively utilise power use and regulate charging loads. 

The Managing Director & Chairman of VNT, Vikas Almadi, expressed his views on the launch and said, “The launch of India’s inaugural 1 MW EV charger has made an iconic moment in India’s EV ecosystem. At VNT, we are focussed towards driving technological innovation that helps in transitioning towards India’s Net Zero ambitions and helps to form an independent and a sustainable future.

The 1 MW charger’s high energy efficiency and dynamic load management will redefine the standards of performance and reliability in EV charging infrastructure.”
