Youdha Introduces EPOD-Bharat Limited Edition electric 3-wheeler with 227 Km Range

Youdha has taken the wraps of their new EPOD-Bharat, which is a limited edition version of its top-spec L5 electric passenger three-wheeler. This special edition was introduced in Bharat Vyapar Mahotsav organised at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. It seamlessly blends electric mobility with traditional Indian design. 

EPOD-Bharat Design 

Visually, the EPOD-Bharat comes with a hand-painted exterior inspired by Warli art, with a dedicated artwork presenting women, rural life, nature and community occasions. Youdha has also stated that the special edition is crafted to depict the creativity and hard work of Indian women and traditional artisans while blending cultural art forms to a modern electric vehicle. 

Youdha EPOD-Bharat Battery and Range Details

The EPOD-Bharat is powered by the same 11.8 kWh lithium-ion LFP battery integrated with a 6 kW electric motor generating 50 Nm of peak torque. It also provides a certified range of up to 227 Km on a single charge. 

The electric three-wheeler’s power can be tapped via City and Boost driving modes and is capable of 300 mm water-wading capacity which makes it reliable specifically for uneven terrain and weather conditions. As per Youdha, the EPOD has been specifically designed for individual drivers and big mobility entrepreneurs, with a focus on range, durability and overall efficiency. 

Youdha EPOD-Bharat Limited Edition Price

The standard EPOD is available at a starting price of Rs 3.20 lakh, however the company has not revealed the exact prices for the limited-edition EPOD-Bharat. It is currently produced at Youdha’s manufacturing facility situated at Kashipur, Uttarakhand. 

The plant has an annual production capacity of 1 lakh units and comes with automated assembly lines, end-of-line testing, and quality control systems. Thus with the launch of special edition EPOD-Bharat, Youdha is trying to create the importance of Indian artisans in preserving India’s popular art forms.
