Ampere Nexus EX+ Launched in India at ₹1.30 Lakh: 136km Range and Key Highlights

Greaves Electric Mobility has launched the Ampere Nexus EX+ electric scooter in India on 5th October 2026. Priced at Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom) the connected version with the Intellipack package is priced at Rs 1,35,999. The scooters will be available through Ampere dealerships across India.

Ampere Nexus EX+ Launch Highlights

The main highlight of the scooter is its 5kW motor that produces 202Nm of peak wheel torque and can accelerate from 0-40kmph in 4.5 seconds. Ampere claims a top speed of 93Kmph with an IDC range of 136Km. The Nexus EX+ uses a 3kWh LFP battery with a claimed battery life of 2,00,000km and a 5-year/75,000km battery warranty. 

An IP65 rated charger has been added for enhanced waterproofing. The Intellipack version adds over 30 connected features including real-time vehicle tracking, geo-fencing, charging status, navigation, and remote diagnostics via the Ampere Connect app. The Nexus EX+ is available in Carbon Knight and Steel Grey colours. 

In the launch announcement, Ampere also highlighted the achievements of the Nexus platform including negotiating 70 hairpin bends at Kolli Hills, conquering the Shipki La Pass, and towing a 2,000kg pickup truck. Ampere highlighted these specific milestones to showcase the scooter's power, durability, and high torque capabilities under extreme conditions.
