BGauss C12 MaxR Launched at introductory price of Rs 1,45,990 | To Come with 175 Km Range

BGauss has launched their performance-oriented C12 MaxR electric scooter at an introductory price of Rs 1,45,990. The C12 MaxR comes powered with a 3.8 kWh IP67-rated LFP battery pack and delivers an IDC-certified range of 178 Km on a single charge, which provides enough range for everyday city commutes. 

BGauss C12 MaxR Platform and Battery 

The C12 MaxR comes underpinned by BGauss’s WSA platform, which is a flexible vehicle architecture which is designed to support multiple motor, battery, and wheel configurations. It is built on high-tensile micro-alloy steel and manufactured through robotic processes. 

The platform is also engineered to provide a life of 1,50,000 Km, providing a foundation for a scooter designed around performance, durability, and providing long-term reliability. 

The C12 MaxR also comes equipped with a 3.8 kWh IP67-rated LFP battery pack, which is attached to an aluminium enclosure designed to support efficient heat dissipation and optimum thermal performance. Its smart Battery Management System (BMS) comes with 110 safety and protection features, which regularly checks critical battery parameters. 

POWER: The power is derived from BGauss new HyperZen in-wheel hyperdrive electric motor, which generates a maximum power output of 4.2 kW of maximum power output and a top speed of 75 km/hr.

HyperZen integrates motor, gear, transmission, braking systems and Motor Control Unit into a compact architecture. Thus the integrated gear transmission system does not need the use of traditional belt or chain, while the integrated MCU reduces wiring and packaging complexity, thus creating an architecture that provides instant torque and higher energy density. 

The C12 MaxR comes with three modes: Eco, Ride, and Sport Riding Modes, along with the addition of reverse mode, cruise control, and regenerative braking, thus designed to offer superior performance across everyday riding conditions.

• The C12 MaxR is a perfect balance between practicality with attractive design and lighting signature as it comes with Krystal Lamp that provides the scooter a robust front profile complimented with full led lighting across the headlamps, tail lamps and indicators. 
• It also gets a 5-inch TFT display that offers turn-by-turn navigation, call notifications, ride and charge statistics, user profiles, document storage, and multiple display themes. 

• Other features include Distance-to-Empty, FallSense, Side-Stand and main-stand motor cut-off, service reminders, Remember My Mode, and Guide My Home. 
• It features 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, 220 mm disc brakes, rear CBS braking, and gets 160 mm of ground clearance.
