BikeWo collaborates with Flipkart to facilitate last-mile deliveries using electric vehicles throughout India.

BikeWo Green Tech Limited, an Indian startup, has collaborated with Instakart Services Private Limited, which serves as the logistics branch of the Flipkart group, to optimize the last-mile delivery process by utilizing a series of electric vehicles. BikeWo features a dealership-oriented two-wheeler network in India.

This partnership will lead to the installation of 1,300 delivery partners and advanced electric vehicles to Flipkart’s delivery hubs. The joint operation is launched in seven states which will be seamlessly integrated through a framework which includes delivery personnel, route planning, and service level requirements. 

The partnership will also ensure hub-wise capacity planning and strictly following protocols related to safety, reliability, data enhancements, and overall performance, as decided by Instakart services. 

Deliveries during the partnership will be handled by BikeWo's technology interface which have several features such as AI-based route optimisation, capacity management, and real-time performance indication with their in-house made tools. The system is exclusively made to increase efficiency and reduce carbon emissions during the delivery process which will ensure a sustainable ecosystem. 

The partnership will be strictly implemented according to Flipkart’s stated objectives which have been aimed towards a complete transition of last-mile delivery fleets to electric vehicles by the the end of this decade. BikeWo will be working towards this goal through its EV-based logistics technology.
