The BMW iX1 follows a Condition-based Service (CBS) system rather than mileage breaks, which involves typical services after every two years. Key maintenance includes cabin air replacement, brake fluid flushing, and comprehensive high-voltage components inspections.
BMW also goes through a detailed vehicle check which comprises inspection of tires, brake pads/discs, high-voltage charging port and road test of the car to find out other shortcomings. The cabin air filter is also replaced during regular maintenance to ensure proper air quality.
