Citroen eC3 Real-World Range Revealed

The Citroen eC3 is the company’s first electric car to be launched in the Indian market. It comes with an option of two variants, Feel and Shine, and comes at a starting price of Rs 12.90 lakh (Ex-Showroom). 

We enquired with the user of the eC3 to know the real-world range of the car and as per his analysis, the car returned a healthy range of 219 Km on a single charge. 

Citroen eC3 Range Test (100% to 0%)

As per the user’s testing and his personal experiences, he told us that he tested the eC3 in its standard mode with regen mode set to default. He also told us that he switched on the A/C and set the temperature to mid, as the eC3 comes with a manual A/C, so he adjusted the knob to a mid position and kept the A/C on during the entire test. The fan was also set at one. 

Then he started driving the eC3 majorly in city limits with 25% of driving at the highway to give a clear perspective of the eC3’s real-world range. According to his tests, the electric hatchback managed to return a decent range of 219 Km before the battery came to 0% SOC (State of Charge), and the car couldn’t turn on. 

According to our analysis, the A/C was automatically cut off when the battery dropped to 5% SOC. The eC3’s max speed was also limited to 10 km/hr at 2% SOC. Below we have mentioned his exact readings to give you a clear picture of his real-world range.
