Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch its highly anticipated E-Vitara. This launch will mark the company’s official entry into the Indian EV industry as the E-Vitara was first spotted at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo.
Maruti E-Vitara Launch Day & Expected Price
The new electric SUV will be unveiled to the general public on December 2, with the pricing to be around Rs 17-22 lakh (ex-showroom). If Maruti decides this price, then E-Vitara will be competing with the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, and MG Windsor EV.
The E-Vitara will also be having fast charging support and will support AC and DC charging capabilities, which will be standard across all variants.

Maruti E-Vitara will have an option of two battery packs catering to different consumers according to their budget and needs.
- 49 kWh - Specifically for budget-conscious users and those looking for regular urban commutes.
- 61 kWh - Catered for those prioritising longer range as it provides more than 500 Km on a single charge.
POWER: The E-Vitara is expected to generate a maximum power output between 142 BHP and 172 BHP, ranging from battery pack choices. It will be available with Front-wheel Drive (FWD), followed by an all-wheel drive (AWD) version to come later.
