The prices for the BYD Sealion 7 will rise starting January 2026.

BYD India has announced a price hike on its Sealion 7 electric SUV at the beginning of 2026. The Sealion 7 was introduced in February 2025 as it faces stiff competition with entry-level electric luxury crossovers such as the BMW iX1 LWB, Tesla Model Y, Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Volvo EC40. 

BYD Sealion 7 Price Hike Details

Currently, BYD Sealion 7 comes at an introductory price of Rs 48.9 lakhs for the base Premium variant and goes up to Rs 54.9 lakh for the top of the line Performance variant. Although BYD India has confirmed that these rates will be applicable for buyers who will book the SUV on or before December 31, 2025. 

Currently BYD India has sold more than 2,000 units in India. The company has confirmed that they will be increasing the prices from January 1, 2026, although not much has been revealed yet.
