Ferrari, known for manufacturing beautifully crafted Italian sportscars, will be soon launching its first ever fully electric sportscar next year. The Italian company has also shared its timeline to sell their upcoming EV.  Ferrari has announced that the rollout of their inaugural electric vehicle will begin in October 2026, as stated by CEO Benedetto Vigna.

Ferrari CEO also announced that the upcoming electric sportscar will create a revolution in the lineup of the Italian manufacturer, earlier known for producing roaring petrol engines. The technical specs for Ferrari's electric vehicle will be announced in October 2025.

If we look at the sales charts of the Italian supercar company, it indicated a 15% growth in sales in the first quarter. According to various sources, the company will be introducing their electric car into three stages, which will be starting from October this year. 

The official unveiling will happen sometime in 2026, with deliveries to start from October next year onwards, as said by the CEO of Ferrari.

Ferrari Sales Charts

In addition to electric cars, Ferrari will also market petrol and hybrid options. The CEO also expressed that the hybrid cars, which the company started selling in 2019 have made a majority of Ferrari’s sales last year, amounting to 51% of the total sales. 

Apart from this, Ferrari is also registering good sales numbers in the global markets in the first quarter of 2025. Majority of the sales was contributed by SF90XX lineup, The 12Cilindri and the 499P Modificata Models. 

The company has also witnessed an increase in the demand of customisation requested by its customers, especially in higher demand countries like America. 

If we look at the recent launches, Ferrari has just introduced the new 296 Speciale plug-in-hybrid car, which also comes with a convertible variant. Ferrari is planning to introduce six new models in its lineup this year, which includes its all-new electric sportscar.
