Hero Vida VXZ Electric Bike Patented in India
The electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp has filed a design patent for the Vida VXZ electric bike in India and will be the first motorcycle to be launched by the brand. This could be a revolutionary shift from concept to reality.
Hero’s upcoming electric motorcycle will be jointly co-developed in partnership with Zero Motorcycles. The first glimpse of the electric motorcycle was displayed at the EICMA 2025, codenamed as “Project VXZ”. The patent registration clarifies that the brand is all set to launch the electric motorcycle soon in the Indian market.
Aggressive Design & Premium Hardware
The patent images show a glimpse of the production-spec motorcycle, as the Vida VXZ houses a distinct streetfighter inspired aesthetics, which look aggressive yet sporty and features stripped-back bodywork. The hardware equipped on the motorcycle is also quite impressive.

- Chassis: It features a rock-solid tubular trellis frame.
- Suspension: Upside Down (USD) front forks integrated with a rear monoshock enhanced for superior handling and grip.
Hero Vida VXZ Drivetrain Technology
One of the most interesting technologies to debut with the upcoming motorcycle is the belt drive system, which provides a smoother ride, less noise and lower maintenance as compared to traditional drive chains, more like the silent power of EVs.
Hero Vida VXZ Expected India Launch
Hero has not revealed the exact technical specifications of the Vida VXZ, but going by the premium components coming with the bike, it is expected to be positioned in the price range of 2-2.5 Lakh. As the design is now patented, the Vida VXZ is all set to enter the Indian roads.
