The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is officially launched with a 39.4 kWh battery pack.
Mahindra has officially introduced its newest electric car, the XUV 3XO EV, diversifying its EV portfolio to a total of four models. It will be available in two variants to choose from, the AX5, available at an introductory price of Rs 13.89 lakh and the range topping AX7L, priced at Rs 14.96 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 7.2 kW AC charger will be available at an extra cost of Rs 50,000. The deliveries for the 3XO will start from February 23. The XUV 3XO is completely based on the ICE counterpart model, retaining the same battery pack and electric motor from the previous XUV400. Thus it has replaced the XUV400 and will be directly competing with the segment best Tata Nexon EV.
Mahindra XUV 3XO Battery & Power
POWER: The XUV 3XO will be powered by a single 39.4 kWh battery pack integrated with the front electric motor churning out 150 HP of peak power and 310 Nm of peak torque, which remains the same from the XUV400. However, Mahindra has not revealed the ARAI range figures but expect a real-world range of around 285 Km in urban conditions.
The XUV 3XO EV can accelerate from 0-100 kph in just 8.3 seconds of time with the availability of three-riding modes such as Fast, Fun, and Fearless. Mahindra has claimed that the battery can be charged from 0-80% in just 50 minutes via 50 kW DC charger.
Mahindra XUV 3XO Exterior & Interior
One of the most interesting parts is that the new XUV 3XO is smaller than 200 mm in length than the outgoing XUV400, which was 4.2 meters long. The new model will be under 4 meters which will affect the boot space and will be even less than the previous XUV400’s 378 litres.
Visually, The XUV 3XO is very similar to the ICE-powered variants, mainly the RevX variants which features the same body-powered treatment for the grille, but there is a slightly different detailing specially on the front bumper. However, the alloy wheels and other signature cues are identical to the petrol-powered model.
