The Base variant of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara has been seen at dealerships.
Maruti Suzuki’s first electric car, the e Vitara is now seen at various dealerships in India, signifying that its deliveries have started. As per the video from Youtube, the entry-level Delta model has been showcased at a dealership finished with Splendid Silver colour shade, which is one of the 10 colours available for the e Vitara.
The e Vitara was launched at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) pricing and goes up to Rs 15.99 lakh (Ex-showroom) for the outright purchase. As deliveries are started, the SUV is gradually reaching showrooms. The e Vitara is directly competing with Hyundai Creta Electric and the Mahindra BE 6.

Even in the entry-level Delta variant, the e Vitara comes equipped with a long list of features. These include LED DRLs, fog lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, integrated spoiler, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic headlamp function. Thus these features add an overall appeal to the base model and give it a premium feel.

Safety features on the base variant comprises seven airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, EPB, TPMS, brake assist, and front & rear parking sensors. The base Delta variant comes powered with a 49 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 440 km on a single charge. Higher variant of the e Vitara utilises a larger 61 kWh battery pack, with a claimed 543 Km of range.
