By using the anonymised vehicle data provided by consumers, Mercedes-Benz will be able to detect road damage, identify unclear signage and provide a clear image of the road infrastructure.

What Will be the Result? 

Due to this, Mercedes-Benz will be able to achieve earlier detection of infrastructure damage, enhancing the maintenance and overall road safety. Modern Mercedes-Benz vehicles are powered with advanced sensors that can predict the road conditions and environmental information. 

All the data is secured and further processed in aggregated form and cannot be traced back to individual vehicle drivers or specific vehicles, as data protection is an important part of this whole process right from the start. These current projects will further display the digital transformation in action.
