Mercedes introduced the CLA 2025 globally, offering a range of up to 792 Kms.

Mercedes has announced the global debut of the CLA 2025 version with updated technology, enhanced sustainability, and higher luxury. Mercedes Benz claims that their new CLA is the smartest car they’ve ever manufactured and will be available in both electric and high-tech hybrid powertrain choices.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA is the first offering in the newer lineup of vehicles from the luxury carmaker, giving a glimpse of its future cars which are a blend of performance, innovation and practicality, making it suitable to the diverse range of users.
Design and How’s it from Inside?
The CLA 2025 is designed to look like a refreshed modern yet sporty look with enhanced surfaces. There is an addition of a new illuminated grille with 142 LED stars that add a luxury touch to the car’s uniquely shaped star headlights and taillights, which enhances the road presence of the cars.
On the inside, things are quite minimalistic yet concentrated on three high-tech elements: The MBUX Superscreen, floating center console and leather-wrapped door panels.
It gets panoramic sunroof as standard on all variants, which gives a sense of extra space and large headroom. The interior is heavily updated with the use of new material options like open-pore wood and anodised finishes, adding to the car’s overall appeal.
Powertrains & Battery Options
The all-electric CLA models come with two variants: CLA 250+ and CLA 350 4MATIC, powered by a 85 kWh battery pack. These electric variants are also manufactured with 40% reduction in carbon emissions in the overall production process as compared to the previous models.
The new CLA models also support an 800-Volt charging system which gives the ability to recharge their cars to 325 Km of range in just 10 minutes.
The New CLA also features a two-speed gearbox at the rear axle. The first gear provides instant throttle responses, whereas the second provides higher efficiency, and longer range to extract the full potential of the car.
CLA 250+ The CLA 250+ model gets a range of 792 Km (WLTP), with the 85 kWh battery pack.
CLA 350 4MATIC: This model gets a 260 kW motor and is termed as a performance version in the CLA lineup, providing higher torque and acceleration.
Safety & Driving Tech Features
The New CLA is equipped with a range of next-generation safety and driving assistance features. The standard features include Distronic Distance Assist, whereas the additional comfort-oriented assistance features come with the optional MB.Drive Assist Package, including features such as Lane Change Assist, and Steering Assist, which comes with autonomous driving with SAE Level 2 technology.
MB.OS and MBUX Screens
Mercedes has developed the new CLA with a new operating system, MB.OS. This OS provides next generation intelligent features that provide a rich driving experience.
- The MB.OS connects the CLA to Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloud, which provides over-the-air updates for important functions which includes the driver assistance systems.

The new CLA also comes with Mercedes’s fourth generation MBUX infotainment system which comes with Artificial Intelligence (AI) from Google and Microsoft.

This partnership makes the system capable enough to understand complex voice commands and adapt as per individual preferences.

In addition, the MBUX system with the help of AI provides seamless and more conversation interactions, thus helping the drivers with navigation to other normal car features.
