800-Volt Architecture: Lightning-Fast Charging

The GLC Electric is underpinned by advanced 800-Volt electrical architecture as the setup allows the electric SUV to support ultra-fast charging speeds of up to 330 kW.

Thus it ensures rapid charge from 10% to 80% in just 22 minutes. However, plugging it into a fast charger for just 10 minutes will add 309 Km to your driving range.

Mercedes GLC Electric Design

Visually, the GLC Electric is longer and wider in dimensions as compared to its ICE counterpart. The front fascia gets a striking closed-off grille integrated with 942 illuminated elements, thus beautifully integrating the iconic three-pointed star.

The SUV rides on sleek 20-inch alloy wheels and comes with flush doors, silver roof rails, and aerodynamic sloping roofline that improves efficiency. The rear features wraparound LED tail-lamps that come with a futuristic look.

Interior & Tech: The Hyperscreen Experience

On the inside, the GLC Electric feels like a modern electric SUV. The highlight of the cabin is 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen. This substantial glass panel stretches across the dashboard, thus combining with three distinct high-resolution displays.

  • 12.3-inch Driver Display: For essential telemetry and navigation.
  • 17.7-inch Central Touchscreen: For media, climate, and vehicle settings.
  • 12.3-inch Passenger Display: It allows the front passenger to stream videos and control audio without distracting the driver.

The SUV also offers loads of practicality with a highly usable 570-litre boot. It is also equipped with a 129-litre frunk beneath the hood, which is perfect for storing your charging cables and smaller bags.

SUSPENSION: Mercedes has provided the GLC Electric with AIRMATIC air suspension, as it dynamically adjusts the ground clearance to provide a smooth ride over uneven Indian roads.

It also comes with a rear axle steering (Up to 4.5 Degree), which significantly shortens the turning radius. It is very helpful while maneuvering through city traffic or tight parking spots.
