MG Comet EV has hit the right spot among EV lovers. Compact in dimensions, smaller footprint, more features and practical performance makes it a value for money deal. The aggressive price has also played an important role in making it an attractive choice among the competition.

Thus after witnessing the popularity of Comet, MG has decided to introduce a special Blackstorm edition of the Comet EV, which will be based on the regular variants, but will be redesigned with some cosmetic enhancements and additional features to make it look different and classy than the standard Comet.

BlackStorm Edition: What’s New

MG will launch the Comet Blackstorm EV with the same exterior colour as the other Blackstorm edition models like Gloster, Hector and ZS EV.

  1. There will also be an addition of red accents on the front bumper skid plates, fog lamp surrounds, wheel caps, and side cladding as well, to give it a bold and robust look from the front.
  2. MG Comet will also be styled with a red font for the “Morris Garages” branding, with an iconic badge on the front fender.

Interior Changes

From the inside also, The MG Comet Blackstorm will be getting the same changes as other blackstorm editions. There will be an all-black sporty theme inside the MG Comet.

  1. It will also come with leatherette seats with a unique branding of the MG Comet Blackstorm edition, which is essential to tell the customers that they are sitting in a distinctive Comet.
  2. The other features of the MG Comet Blackstorm will be the same as the existing variants with four speakers, and the same set of digital screens as the other ones.

Powertrains

The mechanicals are unchanged as the MG Comet Blackstorm is likely to carry the same battery specifications as the regular Comet. The Comet Blackstorm will be powered by the same 17.4 kWh prismatic cell battery pack. It will produce 41 BHP from the electric motor and will provide a decent range of 230 Km on a single charge.
