JSW MG Motor has rolled out their completely new M9 EV in India, available at a starting price of Rs 69.90 lakh (Ex-Showroom). The company will be selling the M9 through MG’s premium Select dealerships, with deliveries starting from August 10. The M9 is also the first product sold through the brand’s premium chain of select dealerships, coming with all the futuristic features.

Positioned in a luxury electric MPV segment, the M9 will be taking the likes of Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire. MG will be also selling the upcoming MG Cyberster through the Select dealerships and could be the second premium electric car in the lineup. 

MG M9 Design Highlights 

From a visual standpoint, the MG M9 appears as a traditional boxy MPV, featuring various design elements including low-positioned headlamps, significant front and rear overhangs, and large, striking connected taillights. The cabin is complemented with a variety of advanced technology features.

The interiors are crafted with a combination of brown with black upholstery in all three rows of seating, with an addition of powered captain seats, one of the major highlights of M9’s interior. 

MG M9 New Features 

The M9 comes equipped with a plethora of cutting-edge technological features, including a 12.23-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, along with a fully digital 7.0-inch driver’s display, digital IRVM, cabin air filter, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, 13-speaker JBL audio system, plush leather and suede upholstery, powered front and rear seats with multiple functions like heating, massage, ventilation, and connected car tech.

The MG M9 is designed to support Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) technology. If we talk about safety, the M9 gets advanced safety features including Level 2 ADAS suite, 360-Degree surround view camera, seven airbags, front and rear disc brakes, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

POWER: With a powerful 90 kWh battery pack, the M9 operates on a front-wheel drive setup and delivers an extensive range of 548 Km on a full charge. The electric motors generate a maximum power output of 245 BHP and 350 Nm of peak torque.
