NueGo is enhancing its Electric Bus Services for intercity travel across India.

NueGo, which is a popular intercity electric bus service company by GreenCell Mobility is all set to expand their electric bus network across multiple cities throughout India. This strategic development will be focussing on enhancing regional connectivity and increasing the dependence on electric vehicles for long distance travel. 

The current fleet of NueGo comprises 300 electric buses. The addition of new routes will increase the demand of electric intercity travel as it promotes sustainability and green tourism, enhancing the electric mobility of India. 

The new routes are even longer than the pre existing routes such as addition of a new route that connects Delhi to Lucknow, which is completed in a timeline of 10 hours with the NueGo’s electric buses. The list of newly added routes are mentioned below.

Recent Developments 

Updated New Routes: NueGo has launched daily services in multiple cities for added convenience which includes Delhi-Lucknow, Delhi-Amritsar, Delhi-Bareilly, Bengaluru-Madurai, and Chennai-Salem.

Electric Sleeper Buses: Introduction of all-new fully electric AC sleeper buses on selected routes for added comfort and convenience for travellers, especially on longer routes which requires long hours of journey. 

Fleet Specifications: The NueGo’s buses equipped on the routes come with advanced features such as fast-charging support and come with an enhanced range of over 500 Km on a single charge. 

Travel Services: Provides multiple advanced digital booking systems, real-time tracking, and internet access while travelling. 

Safety: All buses are equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), GPS tracking, CCTV monitoring, breath analyzer checks for drivers to prevent drunk driving, and an electronic speed limiter electronically set at speeds maxing at 80 Km/hr. 

NueGo has also developed a 24*7 helpline for women passengers and also introduced an exclusive reserved seating for women for added convenience. NueGo has also provided more than 50 mid-point stops with access to charging stations to ensure seamless travel spanning long distances.
