Octillion India has produced its 100,000th EV battery system.

Octillion Power Systems India has achieved a big milestone by manufacturing the 1,00,000th electric vehicle (EV) battery system unit spread across its three facilities in Pune and Gujarat.

The Global President of Octillion, Paul Beach expressed his views on this and said, “ This milestone is the testament to our commitment to clients' trust in delivering reliable, safe, and highly advanced batteries with exceptional value. We are constantly strengthening our position in the Indian EV market and expanding our operations by working on product innovations, market growth, and a seamless supply chain.”

As per the company, this milestone has led to an impressive growth in India and has also expanded the manufacturing capacity in order to streamline their supply chain. Octillion also mentioned their next target as to establish their third manufacturing facility situated in Halol, Gujarat.

Octillion started their operations in India in 2017. They initially manufactured battery systems for electric buses at a single facility in Pune. Currently, the company is managing three facilities spread across 3,00,000 square feet.

The company has targeted an annual energy production capacity of 8 GWh by the end of 2026, which includes EV passenger vehicles, trucks, buses, and two and three-wheelers. It also reported 16.55 GWh of delivered energy in 2024.
